Application Process (for Pre Qualification and Mail Offer)
If you have finalized the decision, here is the detailed procedure for applying for Union Credit Cards. The process to apply with the Mail Offer is also given for the prospective applicant who has received Mail Offer for Union Credit Card
- Open your browser and visit www.unionplus.org.
- Tap on the Menu icon at the extreme top right of the screen.
- Click on Benefits + Discounts.
- Tap on Money.
- Tap on Credit Card Programs.
- Click on Learn More.
- Scroll down a bit and click on Reply Now beside Received a mail offer
- Enter the 16 digits Reservation Number.
- Type in the 6 digits Access Code. Both the numbers are printed together at the bottom of the offers letter.
- Click on View Next Step to proceed.
- If you haven’t received, a mail offer, you can also check if you are pre-qualified. From the same page, click on See If You Prequalify. Checking pre-qualification will take only 60 seconds with zero impact on your credit score.
- One by one, enter the following info of the prospective cardholder:

- Last Name.
- Date of Birth(mm-dd-yyyy)
- Social Security Number.

Activating Union Credit Card Online Account
Got the card? Time to set up Online account management and unlock numerous features like paying bills, checking account statements, receiving alerts and notifications, e-banking, and much more with few taps. Union credit cardholders require their card information to set up online credit card account:
- Open your browser and visit unionplus.capitalone.com.
- Tap on Set Up My Account.
- Enter the following information:
- Last Name of Cardholder.
- Social Security Number/ITI/bank Account Number.
- Date of Birth (mm-dd-yyyy)
- Click on Find Me.
- Go through the account set up prompts and create account credentials like username and password as per the instructions.
- Complete the online account set up by confirming the data entered.
Logging into the Credit Card Account
Login to the Credit Card Account by:
- Visit unionplus.capitalone.com.
- Select the Country and Language from the top right.
- Type in Username.
- Enter Password.
- You may tap on Remember Me if you are accessing from the personal device.
- Click on Sign In.
Reset Username/Password
To recover the forgotten username and password:
- Visit unionplus.capitalone.com.
- Click on Forgot Username or Password.
- Verify the account by entering the following data:
- Last Name.
- Social Security Number.
- Date of Birth (mm-dd-yyyy).
- Click on the Find Me tab.
- The system will auto-populate your details and prompt you to start the recovery process via the identification method.
- After resetting username or password, return to the login page and access using newly set credentials to confirm the changes.
